We had planned a trip Escalante National Monument in Utah, but heavy rains, snow and cold kept us away.
We tried to get there the first night, but got caught in a snowstorm and were forced to turn around and head
for Death Valley. From there we sort of made it up as we went along. We put 1817 miles on our trusty Avis rental.
